“I Urge All Of Us To Work Harder To Increase Productivity” – Pres Akuffo Addo Tells Ghanaians

Increasing the productivity of every nation has been the dream of most presidents in the world. In spite of all the hardships befalling the citizen of Ghana, the President Nana Akuffo Addo has urged all Ghanaians himself to work harder to increase salary levels. It is the president wish that the standard of living of Ghanaians would be would be increased.

Over the few months, there had been some discussion in parliament as to the payment of the e-levy by citizens. This aroused a lot of comments from the general public making claim that such step was a good idea to develop the country so as to attract foreign investors. The e-levy bill has been passed by parliament and it start operation on the first of day May.

The president has stated that, the government has worked with tripatite with other social partners in the past to deal with these issues and would need the support of Ghanaians. The support of every individual in nation building is necessary to make Ghana a better place to live.

This would help increase the salary of workers in the various sections in the economy.
