The member of Parliament for the good people of Ningo Prampram, Honourable Sam George has reacted to the new notice from the Ghana Revenue Authority GRA as far as the implementation of the electronic – Levy (E-levy) is concern. According to the notice from the Ghana Revenue Authority, the commissioner general has decided on a modified phased – approach for the implementation of the electronic levy (E-Levy) starting from 1st May 2022.
However, Ghanaians were expecting that, the electronic levy will be implemented on 1st May 2022. But looking at the lastest update from the Ghana Revenue Authority, it is likely to say that, E-levy cannot be implemented on 1st May 2022.
In response to the above letter from the office of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Honorable Sam George made it clear that, next time the officials of the Ghana Revenue Authority should listen to the advice they will offer.
“Dear Ghana Revenue Authority – Official, next time take technical advice when it is given. When you rush, you would crush. Cheers.” – Sam George stated
