Stop Wasting Your Time: Ghanaians Massively React To Oliver Baker Agenda Against E-Levy

Convener of the social advocacy group, fix the country Movement Oliver Baker-Vormawor has issued a caution to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), urging the revenue agency, to hold on with the implementation of the government’s 1.5% E-levy policy.

However, Ghanaians have advised Oliver Baker not to waste his time in challenging it since it will get nowhere with this agenda.

Ghanaians believe the judicial system in the country has not shown enough trust in their neutrality to worrying Ghanaian issues that have been served to them.

Here are worried comments from Ghanaians on the flawed agenda of Oliver Baker Vormawor:

• Waste of time, the implementation of the levy began from the day the president signed the bill, correct with a legal argument that proves otherwise.

• Osagyefo Oliver Barker-Vormawor Please stop wasting your time. These judges at the Supreme Court the current chief justice are politically minded and their hearts are political.

• Trust me, GRA will commence the introduction of this E-Levy knowing very well of the contempt of court and nothing will be done to them. Take them to these old men headed by this current chief Justice and they will vote as usual 7:0 or 9:0 in favor of GRA implementation.

• Even an ordinary Ghanaian without any law background with his/her common sense knows that if GRA goes ahead with the implementations is tantamount to contempt of court but these old guys there will not help in growing the fallen standards of the economy.

• Under this government, all our neutral organizations have been corrupted and everybody is quiet. Peace council  Christian council, etc are all quiet why?

• My fear is when posterity begins to judge us. By that time these old politicians by name judges would be dead and gone and have destroyed our generation.
