Sarkodie Raps In English For The First Time As He Makes A Strong Point, Watch

Sarkodie has shared a snippet of a yet-to-be-released track produced strictly in English that vastly underlines his versatility and supremacy.

The revered rapper who is regarded as the best rapper in Africa often has to deal with naysayers who pooh-poohed his legacy by saying he cannot rap in the Queen’s Language.

To prove his detractors wrong that he’s not limited because he raps in his native language as they often say, Sarkodie shared a clip of himself dropping bars on a new tune in English whose title we are yet to figure out.

He seemed to be enjoying the track while nodding his head rhythmically as sighted in the video below:

In a related development, a social media user recently mocked Sarkodie for setting his sights high on the Grammys but has not gained a nomination before let alone win it.

Identified as Prínce Dhopekid Gh on Facebook, the netizen made the comment while he was making a contribution on the social media page of Hip Hop Ville on Facebook.

The guy dropped his observation when the popular page made a similar comment about Nigerian singer 9ice who made almost the same proclamation in his 2007 song ‘Street Credibility.’

Hip Hop Ville shared a dapper photo of 9ice and wrote;

“No doubt me, I go bring you Grammy”.#9ice was the first Nigerian artiste to sing about winning a Grammy award on his 2007 single “Street Credibility”.15 years later, he hasn’t gotten a nomination, let alone winning the award.All the same, he’s a great artiste!

In response, Prince said;

Prínce Dhopekid Gh Sarkodie will soon join him He’s been saying “I’m heading straight to the grammys” but he never gets there. Or maybe fuel finished for road 🤔 😂😂
