Ghanaian musician, Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, known by his stage name Wanlov the Kubolor has given reasons why Anti-LGBTQ bill shouldn’t be passed.
Anti-LGBTQ bill which is before Ghana Parliament will criminalize same sex marriage and other activities associated with the LGBTQ+ community if it is passed into law.
Wanlov the Kubolor who had earlier spoken against the bill has explained his reason.
Speaking in an interview on Kingdom Plus 101.9 FM, he said how Ghana’s economy is turning into, if the bill is passed, it will bring troubles to citizens.
According to Wanlov, a person could be robbed in broad daylight and will be tagged as member of the LGBTQ+ community as an excuse for the robbery, which is going to disturb Ghanaians.
He further stated that the act of same sex marriage and the rest has been in Ghana for long and probably, the letters is confusing Ghanaians as they think it is a new thing in the system.
