Dede Ayew Leads List Of Players Calling For Black Stars Call Up With Good Performance For Clubs

Some Ghanaian players are gearing up for a World Cup showdown as well as qualifiers for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations. As days go by, players plying their trade in domestic and foreign leagues are set to make a compelling case for their inclusion into the Senior National team. Over the weekend, three players made a strong indication of their readiness to play should they be invited.

The son of Abedi Pele was on target and summed it up with an assist. This proves how efficient Dede Ayew became for Al Sadd over the weekend. With a goal and assist, Dede Ayew did make a potent call for selection in any imminent call up. As skipper of the Senior National team, Dede Ayew is obliged to maintain a consistent performance and replicate same for Black Stars. His talent has never been in doubt following his Black Stars debut, but rising through the ranks to lead the players on the field has another set of dimensions that cannot commiserate with a lackluster displays. Dede Ayew is in a pole position for an invite if call up was to be made today. His relevance in the National team will always emanate from what he does best for Al Sadd or any other side he joins in the not too far future. 

Antoine Semenyo is Ghanaian international playing for Bristol City in the Championship. Antoine Semenyo was not on target but handed an assist for goal. This makes a clear case of him battling hard to make it to future Black Stars call up. Antoine Semenyo was invited to play for Ghana in the epic World Cup qualifier against Super Green Eagles of Nigeria but was ruled out by injury. He promises to bounce back and make amends if handed another opportunity in the national colors. 

Samuel Inkoom has had a time with the National team at some time but the Accra Hearts of Oak defender is keeping an eye on another stint to wrap up an unfinished business. It is out of this ambition and some remote reasons that he inked a year deal with the defending champions, scoring his first goal after three matches. He curled a free kick with delight for Hearts and is ready for Black Stars.
