The Controller And Accountant General Department published it’s 2022 calendar for payment of salaries. This calendar contains the specific dates for payment of salaries in each month. Unfortunately, it seems the calenders is not followed as February and March 2022 salaries delayed.
On 17th April 2022, the salary payment voucher for the above month was open for validation. According to CAGD, salaries for April will be paid on the 26th which falls on Tuesday.
Will Salaries Of Government Workers Delayed As In The Previous Months?
According to CAGD, various banks will start to credit the accounts of workers on the date stated above. Employees (salary workers on government payroll ) are however urged to note that how fast or quick one will receive his/her monthly salary will depend on his or her bank. Some banks pay very late whereas others pay as soon as payment vouchers are issued by CAGD.
Per this early time of validation, it is likely that many salary workers will receive their salaries from 27th, 28th and 29th of this month.
