Gold is one of the most precious metals around the world. When we turn on our television or browse through the social media, the type of gold we normally see is the one in bars form. Before raw gold is moulded into a bar form, it goes through a process.
Raw gold comes with different shapes and sizes such as dust and nuggets. After the gold dust or nuggets is attained from the ground, acid is used to wash it so that all impurities will be removed from the gold. After the impurities are removed, the raw gold is subjected to strong heat to melt it into liquid from. The liquid gold is then poured into a metal container depending on the shape the owner wants the gold. After that, the gold is dipped in water to end the process.
