Black Stars: Kojo Nkansah Lil Win Expresses Surprise Over Why He Was Not Invited As A Local Player

Actor cum player Kojo Nkansah known in Showbiz as Lil Win has expressed shock over his snub from Black Stars official squad for the imminent World Cup qualifier against Super Green Eagles of Nigeria. Following the official announcement of invited players for the crucial encounter, the New Edubiase player outlined what he brings to the Black Stars if he had been called up.

“When I am in a game it becomes dangerous for opponents. I got injured and will be playing since I am fully fit now. At least they should have called me. We must be honest. I don’t know why I was not called up. Look at the ball I am playing.” He told Asempa Sports.

Kojo Nkansah did not understand why a local player was not invited him. He explained that local players could also offer better options to the team.

“They should have included the Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper and me as well.”

At the time that Dede Ayew is suspended, the New Edubiase winger believes that could have been a good moment for him to help the team on the pitch qualify.

“Black Stars belongs to all of us. We want the betterment of the team. Nigeria is a cheap side. We could have scored five goals if I was invited. I am in Kumasi now. Now that Dede Ayew and co are out of the game, I should have been called.”

On the issue of the sale of New Edubiase, Kojo Nkansah elucidated what could have happened if the team had exchanged ownership. He hinted of a long time desire to buy Accra Hearts of Oak.

“If they had sold New Edubiase, I will have been sold as well. I am looking at buying Accra Hearts of Oak. Negotiations are ongoing. They are yet to quote an actual price which I am ready to buy and run the club. After buying Accra Hearts of Oak then I will known what to do with Sulley Ali Muntari. This is not Chelsea.”

Kojo Nkansah Lil Win signed for Division One club New Edubiase before the commencement of the current campaign. Many expressed surprise as to his ability to wear jersey and play for his mew team. Kwadwo Nkansah finally made his debut for New Edubiase against Unistar Academy at Bekwai Gyamfi Park. He joined the action few minutes to the final whistle after substituting Richard Acheampong.
