The member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa speaks about the journey which is yet to be started by the incumbent His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo. The words of Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa on Nana Addo’s travel was loud and clear on Metro TV on the show Good Morning Ghana hosted by Randy Abby.
When Randy Abby asked Ablakwa about his stake on Nana Addo’s travel without using the Presidential jet, Okudzeto Ablakwa speaks about the high cost involved as the President will travel for 10 days. According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah and Randy Abby, Nana Addo will travel this week to five different places of which four of the journeys are official but one is private.
According Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Nana Addo is going to travel for 10 days without using the Presidential jet. Nana Addo is going to travel with the expensive Private jet for ten days which could amount to about 5 million Ghana Cedis. Honourable Samuel added that, Nana Addo can use the presidential jet for this particular journey and the money to be used on the private jet can be used to pay students loans and other allowances that is due public sector workers in Ghana.
