We live in a world where people are wicked and evil. It’s sad that some people want to destroy others out of jealous and other silly reasons. It’s a good thing we have shows like Dloz’lam to educate us on these things.
Dloz’lam is a show that focuses on tradition and more aspects of life and ancestors. Thembi is a medium who helps people connect with their loved ones who have left this world and are now ancestors. Some people come to the show for closure, some come for answers while some need lessons and more.
In last night’s episode we learnt why it is encouraged to use jeyes fluid and course salt to mop the house and clean windows. It is believed that using those things to clean your house will help you protect you from evil spirits especially on the windows because that’s where they enter. A tweep also suggested using spirit and madubula.
She also warned people about borrowing people money in cash because they can use it for evil rituals then give it back to you and you’ll have bad luck or be cursed.
On Twitter people are having mixed feelings about these lessons. Some appreciate them while some are saying jeyes fluid and salt wont protect you. A tweep said “Idk but why not just pray and believe God will fight or you ,I mean abo broom ,jeyes fluid are those not things created by man?.Why not trust the one who created everything.”
Another tweep answered saying “Prayer alone in this world is not enough you need to stay armed people do not sleep at night #Dlozlami #DloziLami.”
I still believe that it’s important to pray, but we can’t pretend like there is no evil in this world. Yes praying to God and believing in him is important but before we mustn’t forget our ancestors. And just because something is man made doesn’t mean it’s bad.
