Controversial Church in Nairobi That Mostly Consists of Gays & Lesbians [PHOTOS]

Most churches in Kenya and across the world don’t support gayism or lesbianism but that’s not the case with the Cosmopolitan Affirming Church in the capital city.

Cosmopolitan Affirming Church (CAC) in Nairobi is publicly known to provide space for gays and lesbians

The place of worship is situated in a high-end estate in Nairobi and the number of adherents has steadily increased to more than 100.

Outside, the streets are bustling with activity, and a street preacher is by the sidewalk, warning pedestrians of the end times in Swahili.

However, the energy is different inside the room.

Like the regular Pentecostal church, worship music plays as the congregation speaks in tongues. Some of the songs are in Swahili, and others are popular English worship.

According to the standard, the church opened was due to the discrimination gays and lesbians face in other churches.

Along with other religious leaders, the church is fighting against discrimination against LGBTIQ individuals in places of worship and for the freedom of speech of all people, regardless of their orientation or identity.
