With the passing of his father in 2020, 17years old Boatey Sandy Boamah lost hope of advanced education. His father who was a spare parts dealer died last year Dec 2020 after protracted illness. The mother who is a trader had to take full responsibility and was unable to assist in his desire to further his education.
Boatey and his mother live at Mushroom junction at Pantang Village within the Madina Constituency.
Boatey attended St. Peter’s Senior High School where he recorded excellent grades from the WASSCE. He obtained Social studies (A1), Mathematics (A1), Integrated Science (A1), Elective Mathematics (A1), English (B3), Biology (B3), Chemistry (B3) and Physics (B3)
Upon application to Hon Francis Xavier Sosu’s office through his education project, the Eduscheme (www.madinampeducationproject.com) granted him full scholarship to pursue his BSC. COMPUTER SCIENCE at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)
He is the 9th person who has had full scholarship for higher education from the office of the MP in this year. Several others had part support for various levels of education
