The forty-six (46) public colleges of education have recommenced the admission processes for the 2021/2022 academic year after it was halted to allow the 2021 WASSCE Results to be released.

Information from admissionsghana.com page indicates that students who are offered admission to pursue a 4-year Degree Programme in Bachelor of Education in any of the public colleges of education will only be valid for the 2021/2022 academic year and cannot be deferred.

However, for students to confirm the acceptance of admission, they are requested to make full payment of a non-refundable fee and other charges in two separate GCB Payment order (Banker’s Draft) at any branch.

DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF FEES

Students who have currently received admission messages are to note that the deadline for payment of fees is Friday, 24th December 2021. Students are to note that the deadline for payment of fees may depend on the time admission is offered to the individual. 

Additionally, students are to submit the banker’s draft to the college immediately after payment of the admission fee for their prospectus and uniforms else they may forfeit their slot. Students are urged to note that the deadline if not adhered to will have a severe impact on the admission slot to an extent that the person may forfeit the admission. 

HOW MUCH IS THE 2021 COLLEGES OF EDUCATION ADMISSION FEE?

The admission fee to be paid is Two Thousand, Six Hundred and Six Ghana, and Thirty Pesewas (2606.30), which is exactly the amount to be paid this academic year (2021/2022). 

Students are, however, urged to note that bank receipts should be submitted to the college accounts office before 22nd November 2021. An amount of GHS400 will be paid as first-semester examination fees.

2. 2 Photocopies of SSSCE /WASSCE Results slip

3. E-Zwich Card

4. SSNIT Card

Students are to note that these documents will be inspected on the day of reopening.

How To Check Your Admission

1. Log onto https://admissionsghana.com

2. Select Colleges of Education as your category and choose the year example 2021.

3. Choose from your preferred College of Education (CoE) from the list of schools that have admitted students for the academic year (E.g Wesley College of Education)

5. Type or enter your application reference number

6. The details of your application will be displayed on the screen. click on send code

7. A code will be sent to you. The sent code will be used to print out your admission letter.
