It is about a year now since 8 Ghanaians lost their lives in the 2020 election. The NDC, as expected, has accused President Akufo Addo of being the beneficiary of the atrocities committed against Ghanaians by the security services, which cost the lives of the eight people.
Reacting to these claims by the NDC, the Public Relations Officer of NADMO, George Ayisi, has indicated that he now believes that those who died during the 2020 election were by the handiwork of the NDC for them to go and cause trouble at the coalition centers to attract a harsh response from the security services.
George Ayisi made this statement on ‘HOT NEWS’ on Pan Africa television yesterday, 9th December 2021, when he responded to an NDC co-panelist accusations that Akufo Addo was the beneficiary of the deaths that happened during the 2020 election.
According to George Ayisi, he is beginning to believe that those people who unfortunately died during the 2020 election were the handiwork of the NDC. George Ayisi Indicated that it seems it was a deliberate work by the NDC for those people to go and cause trouble at those places to maybe elicit a harsh response or something from the security.
“I’m beginning to wonder because it has become a chewing stick everyday and everytime for them.”
George Ayisi said that people are dead. A Solemn issue, but has now become what the NDC goes about and throwing all over. It’s sad and pathetic.
George Ayisi asked what happened to the people who were killed during the ‘kumi preko’ demonstration? Did the then President show compassion to those demonstrators who were killed?
According to George Ayisi, one of the ‘kumi preko’ demonstrators was even shot in the eye and ultimately died. All this happened in this country, and what did we do about that?
He added that the people who died in the 2020 election allegedly committed electoral offenses, and others also caused rowdy situations on election day.
