During the Joynews interactive session regarding the ongoing Nationwide drivers sit down strike, one trotro driver took to the comment section to register his displeasure.

According to him, his colleague drivers pounced on him and his mate and assaulted them for trying to pick passengers from Accra to Kasoa. While others sympathised with his Ordeal, there were those who scolded him.

Perhaps, he was trying to help stranded passengers. But wait, wasn’t he awful that no vehicle is moving on this very day?

The Ghana Private Roads and Transport Union ( GPRTU) has declared a Nationwide strike against government. According to them, until government reduce the price of petrol or fuel drastically, they aren’t working anymore.

Joynews reported that thousands of passengers are stranded in many parts of the Capital as vehicular activities comes to a halt.

They are still demanding questions about the strike effect in your area. How has it affected you? Check out the post below and the comment section regarding how the driver was beaten.
