The Ghana Premier League (GPL) action continued today with several exciting games. One of the games that many fans looked up to was the game between Asante Kotoko and King Faisal. This was a Kumasi Derby game.
Prior to the Kumasi Derby, Asante Kotoko had not tasted defeat in their first 5 league games this season. King Faisal handed Asante Kotoko their first defeat of the season. King Faisal’s 3:2 victory over Asante Kotoko put them on level points with Asante Kotoko.
Both Real Tamale United and Dreams FC recorded wins in their respective games against Berekum Chelsea and Bibiani Gold Stars. However, Accra Great Olympics and Ashanti Gold could only secure a point from their respective games.
