CKBS Robotics to hold African AI and Robotics Competition for SHSs

CKBS The Robotics  is set to hold this year’s edition of the African Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Robotics competition for some selected second-cycle institutions on the continent.

This year’s event is scheduled to take place at the CKBS head office in Accra on Saturday, December 11th 2021. 

Some of the participating schools include; Mfantsiman Girls SHS, West African Senior Secondary School (WASS), Labone SHS, Benkum SHS and Bredhub Tech Stars from Nigeria.

Other participating schools for the Basketball and Soccer Robots competition include; International Community Montessori School and the Passion Home British International School.

According to the organisers of the African AI and Robotics Competition, the event seeks to create an enabling environment for young students to embrace STEM education, as well as to unleash the innovators in the students.

 “In a world where technology is constantly evolving, there’s a need for one to keep up with the trend. The CKBS hopes to unleash the innovator in students, as well as to help them create a career out of STEM”. Excerpts of the CKBS statement read.
