Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie was the showstopper when he picked up the mic to perform at the 36 Million Solutions Gala Dinner in Kigali, Rwanda last night.
The decorated African rapper was exclusively invited by the organizers to thrill attendees and fans with his superb rap and vintage records.
Rwandans and guests who were at the Gala Dinner last night have praised the Sarckcess CEO for his epic performance which shook the stage and blew off the roof.
Performing his hit song “Lucky” Sarkodie owned the stage and got all the attendees on their feet…the energy, desire and passion he exuded was the reason many have been hailing him as the African Rap King.
Sarkodie, after releasing his HipHop album “No Pressure” toured some parts of Africa to make a statement about his appeal and popularize his brand across several music markets.
This has certainly increased his reach on the continent as arguably the best rapper in Africa. Despite the limitations of the dialect he predominantly raps in, Twi, Sarkodie has succeeded in selling his rap to the entire world and Kigali was no exception.
