Hiplife grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone has shared a throwback photo that captures Ghanaian Hip-hop artist D Black begging him to give him a listening ear to a demo he had recorded.
D Black has been in the music industry for some time but became a household name when his ‘Vera’ song became the national anthem on the lips of many Ghanaians music lovers.
In the photo, a trial looking D Black is seen peeping through Reggie’s car who was sitting comfortably and enjoying the paparazzi inside Osu in Accra.
According to The caption, D Black was 17 years at that time and probably was in Senior High School at the time the photo was taken.
D Black also shared the same image on his Instagram page and captioned; “Yup! That’s me at 17 years old in front of Frankie’s, Osu begging @ReggieRockstone to listen to my demo. 🖤🙏🏽”
