Ghanaian rapper, and entrepreneur, Desmond Blackmore, better known as D Black,  has revealed the real reason for his dismissal from Pope John’s Senior High School.

In a recent interview with Ghanaian media personality Giovanni Caleb on his 360 shown on TV3, D Black opened up on the reason why he was suspended from school in his SHS days.

Prior to DBlack’s response, it was assumed that he had been suspended for bringing a firearm to school.

He admitted that he had been suspended in answer to the host’s question, but not for the reason that had been rumored.
He stated in his testimony that he was expelled from school, that he was initially suspended and then expelled, and that every student who was suspended more than twice in school was subjected to this consequence.

He was reprimanded in his first and second years, and expelled in his third year. He claimed that he traveled to Accra almost every weekend, but that on his way back to school after visiting Accra, he was caught by one of his tutors.

In other news, Kuami Eugene  has lashed out at his former label mate, Mzvee after the latter threw some jabs at him.

While Mzvee was with Lynx, Kuami Eugene confessed that he wrote the majority of the popular songs she is known for.

Eugene has consequently requested that Mzvee respect his name and express gratitude for the assistance he has provided her during her career.

The singer was reacting to a recent interview in which Mzvee made a jab at him. Mzvee previously stated that comparing Kuami Eugene to herself is inappropriate.

As a solo artist with no label, she claims to do everything by herself. She asserted, however, that at Lynx Entertainment, everything is taken care of for kuami Eugene.

As a result, Mzvee claims that comparing their wits is “grossly disrespectful” given their respective resources.
