I Wanted To Quit UTV Show After Bulldog’s Arrest

Popular television personality and actress Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that she wanted to quit her job as the host of UUnited after artist manager Bulldog was arrested.

Recall that the artist manager of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, Bulldog was arrested by operatives of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).

Bulldog’s arrest was in connection with threatening statements he made about President Nana Akufo-Addo on Nana Ama McBrown’s United on UTV on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr Chat, the popular actress stated that she always tries to stay away from issues that will get her mixed up with the police. She added that if not for the support and counsel of the managing director of Despite Media Fadda Dickson she would have bowed out from the sho.

“After Bulldog’s case I wanted to walk away, I couldn’t handle it so I told Fadda, I can’t do it anymore because I don’t want to have issues with the Police and the law but he encouraged me to stay on because these things are bound to happen. Fadda has been very instrumental and he guides me on the show”.
