The family of the Former MP for Gomoa West Constituency and Former Regional Minister for Central Region, Hon Ama Benyiwa-Doe, led by Hon. Richard Gyan – Mensah, MP for Gomoa West Constituency has officially informed the Rt. Hon. Speaker AIban S.K. Bagbin about the demise of the former legislator which occurred on Sunday 19th September, 2021 at Tema.
The bereaved family were accompanied by some Members of Parliament including Hon David T. D. Vondee, MP for Twifo Atti Morkwa Constituency, Hon. Desmond De-Graft Paitoo, MP for Gomao East Constituency and among others.
The Late Hon. Benyiwa- Doe was appointed by the late Former President, His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills as the Central Regional Minister in January 2009 to 2012. The late legislature was also a former member of the Council of State.
According to the family the final funeral rites of the late Hon. Ama Benyiwa – Doe is scheduled to be held on Saturday 18th December 2021 at Gomoa West in the Central Region.
