Cecilia Marfo’s viral ‘Whashawasay’ song which is an inadvertent rendition of an gospel song dubbed ‘What Shall I Say’ has become the cynosure of all eyes on the internet.
The fulcrum of the song is centered around, Fire- the 62-year old assistant of the Gospel musician who was asked to go back and join in the chorus as the lyrics of the song in the Whashawasay stipulated.
Cecilia Marfo in a previous interview on Adom TV has explained that Fire was standing too close and might interrupt the flow of worship – a need for her to go back to allow some space at the front.
Speaking further, she said Fire was not enthused about her command which is why she interspersed her statement with ‘Wo nan naa’ (your leg) just to lighten up her mood.
The award-winning gospel musician has also been seen in a separate video stating that Fire is a 62-year-old woman who is married with kids. She revealed in this fresh video that Fire has been of immense help to her in her ministry.
