Promising Ghanaian singer, Jackeline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie has disclosed that there are some big names in Africa when it comes to music who are chasing her with collaboration deals.

Gyakie has done more with her craft as a musician than expected. Ever since she broke into the scene with her most popular song “Forever”, Gyakie has gained global recognition and continues to dominate top charts on social media.
During her interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo, Gyakie revealed that she has so far recorded some songs with a few stars from countries like Nigeria, Tanzania, and South Africa and still working on completing other deals offered to her by some other top African stars.

In other news, after they were both released from prison a few weeks ago, the dancehall king, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has demonstrated an act of generosity towards his colleagues and pal, Medikal, and his wife, Fella Makafui.
Shatta Wale and Medikal were accused of some offenses and made to spend some time in prison. Shatta Wale was remanded into police custody for one week after he was accused of causing fear and panic with a publicity stunt he pulled about a fake gun attack on himself. He was granted a bail of GHc100,000 but reappeared before the court recently of which his case was adjourned to December 7.
The “Jah Guide” hitmaker was also accused of brandishing a gun in a viral video sighted on social media. He was remanded for five days and later granted bail of GHc100,000 with one surety. He also appeared before an Accra Circuit court again and had his case adjourned to December 7, 2021.
