Ghanaian entertainment pundit cum artiste manager, Mr. Logic has contended to the Kumawood movie industry to be motivated to shoot more content in order to calm down the influx of telenovelas on our screens.

The rise in the broadcasting of foreign content has been one of the main causes of the downfall of the Kumawood movie industry. Ghanaians have grown to appreciate telenovelas even more than Ghanaian movies.
It is at the back of this that Mr. Logic has averred for the Kumawood movie industry to be motivated to shoot more local movies in order to discourage telenovelas on our screens.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Mr. Logic stated that some of these telenovelas are being translated into our local dialects, causing more harm to the local movies which have been unappreciated by the majority for some time now.
