According to the ‘Enjoyment Minister’, most Ghanaian musicians do not invest in their music and lack the sense to treat it as a business. He said that Ghanaian musicians will rather rely on social media trends for their music to make waves on the internet.

Speaking in an interview on Adom TV‘s weekend show, Ahosepe Xtra with Sister Sandy, D Black almost every Nigerian musician treat their respective music brands as a business venture, thus they put in their resources in order to get their songs trending on social media.

He revealed that most Nigerian musicians pay YouTube about $500 for ad placement or contact a PR company for their songs to be promoted properly on social media platforms and this has been one of the main reasons why their artists always break global boundaries with their crafts.
