Promising Ghanaian rapper, Amerado has made a shocking revelation, saying that he has never drunk alcohol or smoked before in his life despite his dreadlocks which depict that he might be a heavy smoker.

Mostly, people with dreadlocks are presumed by many to be heavy smokers although this isn’t always the case. Musicians are rumored to be involved in so many bad habits like drinking and smoking. Others have openly come out to confess being smokers and have even pushed for weed to be legalized in the country
Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo, Amerado revealed that he has never tasted alcohol neither has he smoked before in his life. According to him, he made a promise to his mother never to engage in such activities before venturing into the music scene.
He said that most people have the perception that musicians are into bad habits like smoking and drinking alcohol, thus his mother disliked the idea of him becoming a musician until he made her the promise of never engaging in such activities.
He said that he has been able to keep his word and despite his fame and accomplishments so far, he has never been influenced into breaking his promise to his mother.
