Hearts Face Algerian Side … In Confederation Cup

Accra Hearts of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak have been drawn against Algerian giants Jeunesse Sportive de la Saoura in Confederation Cup play-offs.

The Ghana Premier League champions dropped to Africa’s second tier competition after a disastrous showing against Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club in the CAF Champions League.

The Phobians will be looking for redemption in the Confederation Cup by beating JS Saoura to make it to the group stages of the competition.

Hearts won the maiden edition of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2004, after beating arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the final.
