Shatta Wale Arrives At Ankaful Prison To Begin His Remand Term

Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah who is known as Shatta Wale is now at the Ankaful Prison and this is where he will be spending the next one week due to him being remanded by a court to remain in police custody.

It could be recalled that following his unnecessary stunt, Shatta Wale was arrested and sent to court for causing fear and panic in the public domain.

In court, luck eluded him as he was denied bail and was asked to spend the one week in police custody to allow the prosecutors to continue with their investigations.

The court made the decision to make him remain in police custody after he pleaded not guilty to the charge of giving false information that resulted in causing fear and panic.

The place he will be spending his remand term was revealed in a recent report by StarrFM Online and according to their correspondent who was in court, the presiding judge in his ruling stated that remanding Shatta Wale was in the interest of the public and it was very paramount.
