Award-winning dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has finally added his voice to the LGBTQ brouhaha in Ghana.

The anti-LGBTQ bill led by the member of Parliament representing the Ningo Prampram, Sam George aims at criminalizing the practice of homosexuality in Ghana. So far, the bill has been condemned by some advocates of the LGBTQ community who claim the bill aims to stigmatize their sexual orientation.

However, the LGBTQ community has appealed to the government of Ghana to legalize the practice of their sexuality in Ghana.

In reaction to this, Shatta Wale who happens to have one of the biggest fanbases in Ghana has revealed that some of his fans are members of the LGBTQ community, thus he sees no need to condemn them when all they seek is to live their lives freely without any criticism in the country.

During a space interview with KalyJay on Twitter, Shatta Wale lamented most of these advanced countries Ghana solicits funds from have put measures to govern the country to everyone’s satisfaction, thus Ghana can also allow its citizens to live their lives without any stigmatization.

In other news, Ghanaian comic actor, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, also known as Funny Face has sparked controversies on social media once again, invoking curses on his ex-wife, Elizabeth Ntim for abandoning him for a policeman.

According to Funny Face who has been facing one trouble after the other with his love life, his ex-wife cheated on him with some policemen at her station including the man she recently tied the knot with a few months ago.
