Ghanaian actress and musician, Rosemond Brown popularly called Akuapem Poloo has recounted how American rapper, Cardi B came to her aid when she was in distress and was being dragged in court over her case that got her put behind bars for several days.
Cardi B and Akuapem Poloo started their friendship following the former’s stay in Accra for a show she performed at the Accra Sports Stadium after performing in Nigeria barely two years ago.
According to a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, Akuapem Poloo claimed Cardi B gifted her a whopping $30,000 to take care of some bills whilst in court.
“Cardi supported me, she gave me $30,000.00 which I used during my court case and advised me all the time,” Akuapem Poloo stated.
“Cardi wants to feature me and encourages me to keep producing music so I can build my potential,” Poloo added.
