Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, well known as Sarkodie has revealed that he has no intention of signing any new artist to his SarkCess record label.
The Chief Executive Officer of SarkCess has for the past signed Strongman and Akwaboah to his record label but they both went their separate ways after some years.
Their reason according to them was mutual but Ghanaians were of the view there was more to the reason they gave.
Strongman during a recent interview on TV3’s New Day revealed that he will only be willing to go back to SarkCess if it involves a huge amount of money because he has upgraded his brand.
Speaking in a recent space interview with the Twitter influencer, KalyJay, Sarkodie revealed that the current state of the entertainment industry in Africa makes it difficult for one to sign an artist so it will be better for him not to attempt signing anyone for now but would rather give them the exposure they seek by featuring them on his projects.
