His signing makes him the most expensive Ghanaian football export in the history of the West African nation with a weekly wage of €200,000 for the next 4 years.

A Newspaper called ‘The Sun” published a story about Thomas Partey’s new deal, adding that the International Ghanaian footballer is from a Poverty-Stricken country called Ghana.

Reacting to that, media personality Nana Aba Anamoah descended heavily on the foreign newspaper for saying that Ghana is a poverty-stricken country.

She described the newspaper as shameless for making things look as if Africans can’t rise at a high cost.
