Years ago around the time when Jim Iyke and Nadia Buari were still items, actress Nikki Samonas stole the spotlight when she had a steamy affair with the Nigerian superstar that set tongues wagging.

To put it in proper perspective so you know we are not deviating, Nikki and Iyke had an on-screen romance that broke boundaries since se.x scenes in African movies had always been subliminal but this one between the two actors went beyond the limit and became a yardstick in African cinematography.

The actress opened up on this issue for the first time after social media users retrieved that particular scene and started disseminating it widely recently.

Nikki admitted they ‘did a lot’ but as we could all see, it was confined within the movie set and nothing beyond that.

She made this known when she took her turn on United on United Television (UTV) hosted by ace broadcaster Abeiku Santana.

The actress and TV personality recently told Graphic how she has kept her brand free from controversies whereas as most of her colleagues thrive on such trivialities to solidify their personalities in the mainstream.

Letting us on her secret, Nikki said trouble just doesn’t find her coupled with the fact that she prays a lot.

“Prayers and staying out of trouble have given a positive image to my brand. Trouble just doesn’t find me but if it finds me, silence is the best treatment, that’s what I will say.

“It’s always about your talent though. Talent takes you places so that comes first and other requirements will follow so we can’t rule out talent,” she said.

further asked her if there’s any pressure from her family for her to settle down and this is what she said: “No, thankfully enough, I have a very supportive family and they are happy when I am.
