A group of ladies who identify themselves as Slim Ladies Association of Ghana has issued a stern warning to renowned artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Mr. Logic to retract and apologize to them regarding some demeaning comments he made about them o live radio recently.
According to the group; Concern Slim Ladies GH, a video circulating online which captured Mr. Logic stating that any man who prefers to be with a slim lady doesn’t have a good taste is highly unacceptable.
Read the full statement they released;
Our attention has been drawn to a video circulating on the various social media
platforms which we find it very uncomfortable and body shaming.
In the video, an Artiste Manager and a Musician, Mr. Logic was heard saying he
doesn’t understand why any man will prefer to be with a slim lady.
He also stated that, any man who prefers to be with a slim lady doesn’t have a
good taste of a woman, and it is as a result of hunger hence being slim.
We therefore find the statement to be very unfortunate, unpleasant and body
shamming.
We understand men have their preferences and what they are attracted to, but
not withstanding, someone will run down other people’s preferences.
As concerned members who have the interest of slim ladies at heart, we therefore
demand that, Mr. Logic retracts and renders unqualified apology of the statement
made on Adom Entertainment hall last week.
