“People Used To Compare Me To Animals Because Of My Looks”-Kumawood Actor, Agurugu Sadly Reveals [Video]

Kumawood actor, Kwesi Boateng, also known as Agurugu Baba Yoba has disclosed the ridicule he was subjected to during his childhood period because of his looks.

Speaking with the actor, Kwaku Manu on the Aggressive show, Akurugu who has a rare look and that was what shot him to fame revealed that he inherited his looks from his biological father whom he has never seen before because of some family issues.

He narrated that his childhood has not been a pleasant one on the account that his childhood peers used to compare him to animals because of his rare look and due to that, he had no close friends in school.

“You know in school everyone had friends; they ate together and did everything together. I had no one like that. It was just me and me alone. People compared me to animals so they never came close,” he said.

He further narrated how the people of his community,  Asante Asaaman. also ridiculed his looks by tagging him as a weak frog, hence the name Mr. Frog. Also, the women in his town never got closer to him but were always around other guys.

However, his life has now changed for the better, and now, people accept him wherever he goes because of the fame he has now as an actor in the Kumawood movie industry.

“By God’s grace that I am now getting famous, they are all trying to get closer to me,” he continued before revealing that “I have never dated anyone from my hometown, I take outside”, he noted.

Akurugu also revealed that during sex, his eyes become sexier and occasionally fall out of their sockets, but that he picks them up and fixes them. He also added that he admires women with big backsides when asked about his choice of women. In the video below, you can hear more from him.
