Award-winning dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has heaped praises on his colleagues, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Medikal, and Criss Waddle for investing their time and money into their respective crafts despite the fact the Ghana music industry has failed to back them.

According to Shatta Wale, the Ghanaian music industry has not done enough to support artists in Ghana yet have the guts to talk about their craft and flaws on air.

Shatta Wale who expressed his displeasure in how some pundits have tagged him to be the one always attacking his fellow artists and the media said that the like of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Criss Waddle, and Medikal have really tried their best in promoting their music brand with the little cash they earn since the music industry has chosen to rather condemn them than to support.

He said that most entertain pundits would rather point out things they feel the artist should do rather than eulogizing him for the growth the artist has attained with regards to his or her music career.
