Sept. 21 (UPI) — Matthew Shea is sharing his regrets from his time on Below Deck Mediterranean.

The chef and television personality revisited moments from the show during a game of Do You Regret It? on Monday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

Shea, who hurt his knee prior to the first charter of Season 6, said he regretted leaving the boat instead of pushing through his injury in season premiere.

Shea also said he regretted “storming off the boat in drunken rage” in the show’s July 26 episode.

“I mean, to be completely honest, I don’t fully remember that night. And I drank, I had too much to drink. I hadn’t eaten,” Shea previously told Bravo Insider. “I had a rough afternoon. I was angry. I was bust, as I like to say.”

Shea said his abrupt exit was “just a drunk, horrible reaction.” He returned to the boat in the Aug. 2 episode and apologized to Captain Sandy Yawn and his crew mates for his actions.

On WWHL, Shea said he doesn’t regret telling former stewardess Lexi Wilson that she is the worst person he’s met, nor pressuring Katie Flood to ditch former stewardess Delaney Evans.

“No, I like the team we ended with,” he said of Wilson and Evans’ departures. “I like the team we had, without Delaney and Lexi.”

Shea said, however, that he regrets threatening to give Yawn an ultimatum about keeping either him or Wilson on the boat.

Below Deck Mediterranean is a reality series that follows the crew of a superyacht during charter season. The show is in its sixth season on Bravo and co-stars Malia White, Courtney Veale, David Pascoe, Lloyd Spencer and Mzi “Zee” Dempers.
