Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has revealed that his craft and brand have nothing to do with the Ghana Industry.

Shatta Wale has been fighting against the movers and shakers of the Ghana Industry, exposing them for their manipulative ways and poor managerial skills.

Over the years, he has had his differences with so many artists and award schemes for one reason or the other. He claims that the Ghana Industry has not done enough to support musicians in the country, yet demands positive results after the musician manages to breakthrough. Event organizers, producers, and the media have all been victims of Shatta Wale’s melodrama.

In his recent tweet, Shatta Wale has revealed that he has said it times without number that he is not an industry artist and as such, his craft has nothing to do with the industry.

In other news, Ghanaian Switzerland-based rapper, Lefly has stated clearly that Ghanaian artists can never do away without tapping into the Nigerian music industry before making it to the international music market.

According to the rapper, it will be very difficult for most Ghanaian artists to break through to the international market without the assistance of some Nigerian artists because they control the market at the moment.

Speaking in an interview on Ola Michael on Neat FM, Lefly who claims to be the biggest Ghanaian artist in Switzerland revealed that he will definitely be tapping into the Nigerian market to elevate his music career because there is no way Ghanaian musicians can do without tapping into the Nigerian market.
