According to the rapper, the energy some media houses and online news portals put into circulating negative news on social media could be channeled into something prodcutive like promoting Ghanaian acts.

He also spoke against the comparison between the Ghanaian music industry and the Nigerian music industry. According to Medikal, the media is not selling Ghanaian music on their various platforms because it does not meet international standards.

He said that Ghanaian musicians are equally doing well as Nigerians, thus just because the latter has been able to attain a certain global height does not mean they are better than the former.
