Ghanaian Gospel Musician Celestine Donkor has taken a stroll down memory lane to reflect on one of her embarrassing moments while performing at church as a girl growing up.
Celestine Donkor explained that she was a very shy girl growing up and she did not fancy getting herself in groups or acquainting with groups due to her shy nature. She opened up about her life and her most embarrassing moment in a recent interview on Accra-based Joy Fm.
Celestine made it known one of the most memorable embarrassing moments she had was when she was made to sing in church for the first time.

She said: “I did not have much mingling with people…in groups and all like that. I was most comfortable with my family then so when I find myself with different people the timidity and the shyness showcases”,
Reflecting on her first encounter with singing in the church for the first time, she revealed that “my mum knows what we do at home and the way we sing and get involved. One day she was so confident and put me on programme at church and asked me to write my name. I was like ok I will do it. She psyched me up and when I got there, the moment I got onto the stage everything I rehearsed, every song I rehearsed disappeared”
“I was super shy”, she added.
