Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban brought luck to the Genoa team as they came from behind to beat Cagliari 3-2 in the Serie A on Saturday.

The former Trabzonspor forward was introduced into the game in the second half as Genoa was down by 2-1.

Joao Pedro and Luca Ceppitelli put Cagliari who were playing at home in the lead in the 16th and 56th minute.

Mattia Destro pulled one back for Genoa in the 59th minute before Caleb Ekuban was introduced into the game.

Immediately Caleb Ekuban was introduced into the game from the 62nd minute, he gave the team luck as Genoa scored two goals to win the game.

Mohammed Salim Fares got the equalizer for Genoa in the 69th minute and sealed the win for the away side in the 78th minute.

The Ghana International played 30 minutes upon coming on the field and had a 100 percent pass success and was rated 6.3 per performance according to Fotmob.

The 27-year-old has made two appearances for Genoa in the ongoing campaign.
