Watch: Showtime explores The Weeknd’s Super Bowl concert in ‘The Show’ trailer

Sept. 1 (UPI) — Showtime goes behind-the-scenes of The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV halftime show in the new trailer for upcoming documentary special, The Show.

Cameras follow the creators behind The Weeknd’s performance, which is referred to as the most-watched 12 minutes in television, in the clip released on Wednesday.

Footage of The Weeknd rehearsing with backup dancers and taking the stage at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., is also included.

The Show, from director Nadia Hallgren, will air Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime.

The Weeknd performed in front of 25,000 fans during this Super Bowl LV halftime performance, which included the songs “Starboy,” “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “I Feel It Coming,” “Save Your Tears,” “Earned It” and “Blinding Lights.”

The Weeknd, in August, released a music video for his new song “Take My Breath.” The singer last released the album After Hours in March 2020.
