A member of the Vodafone Ghana Awards (VGMA) board and former PRO of Charterhouse, George Quaye has revealed that there would have been a surprise package in store for Ghanaians at the just ended award ceremony.

Geroge said the banned artistes would have been made to present an award to the winner of this year’s winner of the Dancehall/Reggae Artiste of the Year award which was eventually taken by Ras Kuuku.
“I wanted Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to come to present the reggae-dancehall award but it was a last-minute decision which didn’t pull through”, George Quaye told Sammy Flex in a phone interview on Zylofon Fm.
‘Let’s focus on getting Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy back to the scheme rather than tearing them apart,’ he added.
