Two of Ghana’s finest musicians, Stonebwoy and King Promise have caused massive stir on social media with their outstanding performances at the Yam Carnival.

On Bank Holiday Saturday August 28, top African stars such as Beenie Man, Davido, Kehlani, Koffee, King Promise, and Stonebwoy performed at the festival on Clapham Common in South London.

The show’s high point came when Ghana’s Stonebwoy and King Promise stormed the stage to perform their hit songs for the enthusiastic crowd.

However, reports indicated that there were a few technical difficulties during the show but per the majority of the guests who attended the show, it was amazing.

In other news, Ghanaian rapper and businessman Sarkodie has revealed how he failed to release his first-ever recorded album because all the songs were about his broken heart.

According to the rapper, he transferred his state of mind and mood on the songs he was recording for the album at that time because he wanted to pour his heart out and feelings on the songs after he got a broken heart.

He said although the melodies on the songs didn’t sound the same when you hear them, but listening to the songs very carefully will make you realized he was talking about the same time broken heart story over and over again.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tilly Akua Nipaa on the ‘Bold Convo’ aired on One Play Africa, Sarkodie also revealed that it got to a point while he disliked women to the fullest when he was recording the album.
