Somewhere in the month of July, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hammer Productions and Host of Hammer Time on Kumasi-based Pure 95.7 FM, Hammer Kofi Nti lost his biological mother, Madam Comfort Acheampong.

Madam Comfort Acheampong kicked the bucket after a short illness in Greater Kumasi. And per arrangements, the final funeral rites took place at Saturday, 21, 2021 at Adako Jachie Community centre.
Consequently, many Ghanaian Celebrities over the weekend were in Kumasi to mourn with Hammer Nti of ‘Hammer Time’fame as he bid his late mother farewell in the final funeral.
Despite the heavy rains on that fateful day saw performances from the legendary Akosua Agyapong, Pat Thomas, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Minister OJ, Agnes Agyemang, Amandzeba Nat Brew, A.B Crentsil, Okomfour Kwaaadee, Pozo, Paapa Yankson Jnr, with many other celebrities like Naana Hayford, Jackie Appiah, Kalsoume Sinare, Abeiku Santana, Tic, Kwame Adinkra all partaking in the ceremony and mourning with Hammer Nti.
Notable personalities like Dr. Kwaku Oteng (Founder, Angel Group of Companies), Dr. Christian Agyemang (Founder, Taabea Company Limited) graced the august funeral ceremony
In an interview with MyNewsGh.com, veteran actress, Kalsoume Sinare indicated that Hammer’s contributions in the creative arts industry can’t be overlooked and as such, it was significant that the industry personalities mourn and share in his pain at his bereaved moment.
