Aug. 19 (UPI) — Disney has announced a special new installment of its Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian series that will explore Luke Skywalker’s return.
Disney released a teaser trailer for the episode, which goes behind-the-scenes of The Mandalorian’s Season 2 finale that featured Mark Hamill reprising his role as Luke Skywalker.
“You see your crew just staring at Mark and you realize that they’re remembering what it meant to them,” executive producer Dave Filoni says in the teaser.
Hamill is featured wearing a black Jedi robe and holds a green lightsaber in the clip.
Luke Skywalker came back in dramatic fashion in the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian as he arrived to take Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda, to train him in the ways of the Force.
This special episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday.
