President of the Songwriters Association of Ghana, Emmanuel Barnes popularly known in as Mr. Logic has tagged young Ghanaian musician Black Sherif as the revival of Hiplife.

According to Mr. Logic, Black Sherif has awakened the entire Hiplife genre and brought it back to life in an era where most musicians in the country are tagging themselves as Hip Hop artists and Drill rappers.
He said Black Sherif is a true definition of Hiplife looking at the kind of things he does on a song. His lyrics are so unique and his style and energy level on the song makes him so different from other rappers in the country.
In his submission this morning on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show hosted by Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz FM, the controversial entertainment pundit stated among all the rappers from Kumasi, Black Sherif seems to stand out and seems to have a brighter future than his peers.
He urged a serious record label that is willing to sign an artist to quickly tap into the rapper’s blessings and sign him as soon as possible as he will definitely make the label a lot of money in returns. He added the record label should be ready to offer the ‘Second Sermon’ hitmaker a 360 deal which will cover everything about the rapper and be ready to transform him.
