Recall Epixode a couple of weeks ago after winning the Vodafone Ghana Awards Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year in an interview stated that it’s a blessing in disguise to him when the VGMAs board suspended Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale following their brawl at the 2019 edition of the award.

He stated that although he had a great feeling and was every confident of winning the Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year award on the 22nd edition of the VGMAs even if Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were still involved, he felt this was made possible for him following the two great Reggae Dancehall musicians in the country distancing themselves from the award this year.

In an interview this morning with Andy Dosty on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM, the ‘Odeshi’ hitmaker apologized to the two artists if his comments about their suspension hurt them and if they feel disrespected.

He explained that his comment was made on a friendly basis and wasn’t meant to start any controversy between these two artists as some media houses and some online news portals are trying to instigate.

Epixode also rendered his unqualified apology to the fans and the camps of Shatta Movement and Bhim Nation over the comment.
